E-Networks is the exclusive Internet and Technology partner of Building Expo 2022

E-Networks Inc.– Guyana’s fastest internet provider– announced its commitment to the International Building Expo as the official internet and technology partner, along with its plans to showcase its products and services at the three-day Expo.

The Building Expo takes place July 22-24, 2022 at the National Stadium, Providence, and will spotlight companies in the housing, construction and building sectors, bringing the latest industry solutions to market.

Through this partnership, E-Networks, as the country’s only 100% locally owned telecommunications provider, will power the Expo with free and reliable Wi-Fi connectivity to support the public and exhibitors.

In particular, E-Networks will ensure this connectivity will support the exhibitors in maximizing their booths’ showcasing abilities and enable a strong social media presence.

E-Networks will also be partnering with the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) to power its smart homes.

A smart home allows homeowners to automate and control appliances, lights, security cameras and other devices through an internet connection, enabling reduced energy consumption, and enhanced convenience and cost savings.

By providing fast and robust connectivity, E-Networks will play a critical role in supporting the CH&PA in demonstrating the benefits, efficiency and convenience of its smart homes.

E-Networks, which is the country’s pioneer of IPTV, will also be broadcasting the event live on its E1 channel available across all its platforms countrywide. This will allow for Guyanese outside of Georgetown to be able to virtually attend the event and expand the reach of the Expo.

E-Networks also has a planned presence at the Expo through its booth, which the company will use to showcase its services and products, including Guyana’s fastest internet service: The Gig offering 1,000 Mbps, which is on par with services available internationally and in the region.

E-Networks believes that this partnership strategically aligns with its proven track record of working to connect new home developments, providing internet and television services to communities without telecommunications infrastructure.

The company also strives to provide its services in more areas across the country, including in rural areas that lack connectivity options, at the same speeds and pricing as in the urban areas.

E-Networks has been setting standards in local telecommunications since the liberalization of the telecommunications sector in October 2020.

The company has landed its own subsea international cable from Barbados and the first submarine fiber optic cable to Essequibo, and boasts the largest fiber backbone in the country.

The company is also proud to continually expand its network to offer more services at the same speeds and the same pricing to more new areas such as Linden, Kuru Kururu and West Coast Berbice just this year.
