ENet Improves Mobile Coverage on West Bank Demerara
ENet, recognised by Ookla®️ Speedtest Awards as Guyana’s Fastest Mobile Network, has improved its ultrafast mobile coverage across the West Bank of Demerara, continuing its mission to deliver affordable, high-quality connectivity to communities across the country.
ENet Mobile customers can enjoy enhanced coverage of Orange Plans, ranging from a budget-friendly seven-day bundle (10 GB of data plus unlimited on-net calls and texts) to 30-day options offering up to 100 GB of data along with generous off-net and international inclusions.
Improved coverage is now available in: Westminster Phase 1, Recht door Zee Phase 1, Anna Catherine/L’Esperance/Studley Park, Toevlugt, The Buff & The Commons, Goedverwagting, Jacoba Constancia, Klyn-en-Rhyn, La Resource, Belle West, Nismes, La Retraite, Stanleytown, Cottage (Little Alliance), Belle Vue, Good Intent, De Gezusters, Wales, Patentia and Vriesland.
“This move underscores our long-term commitment to making modern connectivity accessible to more Guyanese, wherever they live,” said Robert Hiscock, Head of Mobile at ENet. “Our cloud-native, AI-driven network is built for rapid growth, and we will keep expanding to ensure every community benefits from the same speed, reliability, and quality of service.”
Since the liberalisation of the telecommunications sector in 2020, ENet has rapidly scaled its operations and infrastructure. The company was the first to launch a 5G network in Guyana and remains the only provider with a fully Guyanese-owned subsea cable and fiber optic backbone. The company continues to roll out future-ready coverage across the country, with new areas scheduled to come online in the months ahead.
